Hey Everyone!

I had my first wedding shoot last Saturday, and I must say, it was honestly the most stressful thing I have ever done. Leading up to the wedding day, all I could think about was "What if I mess up their big day?" "Am I honestly a good enough photographer for this?!" I was constantly googling tips for a wedding photographer. I was on Pinterest pinning every wedding pose, wedding checklist, and photography tip I could find. I had a notebook filled with the layout of the wedding and the whereabouts of me and my second shooter for each big part of the wedding. (Do NOT do this, nothing you plan will work out.) I had every pose that I wanted jotted down.  I was constantly referring back to the notebook and I was terrified that it would look "unprofessional". But, It honestly kept me super organized throughout the day. My tips are, to make sure you take multiple pictures of the same pose, you never know when one will be out of focus. It's always a good idea to be over prepared.

I have learned so much from this wedding, I cannot wait to learn more.

Smiles,

Jami :)

The bride's gorgeous shoes and bouquet with the delicious cake in the background. The glitter tablecloth was a huge plus!

Hey! I have recently had a few people ask me how I stay organized with my sessions. Well, I am going to be completely honest. I use about 2 notebooks, a planner, a whiteboard, and my phone reminders. I am constantly on my toes about my sessions. I am constantly making notes about how I want my sessions to play out. I am often seen with my notebook making notes and I try to ask as many questions as possible. A HUGE goal of mine is to make the session the client's, I am just the one behind the camera. :) As soon as information on the session gets updated, I make notes on ALL of my organizers. My life can get pretty hectic and this is the best way for me to make sure that I am on the same schedule as my clients. I make sure that I am always in constant contact with my clients. If you all have any questions about how I stay organized, feel free to shoot me a message!

Smiles,

Jami

Well, hello everyone! I am trying something new. I am going to attempt to blog a little bit here and there. I have updated my whole website. It is something that I am actually starting to be proud of. I am going to keep this post short until I get the hang of this. I have much more planned for my website, I hope you all stay tuned for future blogs!

Do you have any feedback for me? I want this website to not only be something that I love, but as well as my viewers. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Smiles,

Jami
